Twin 88: Gear Drive Camshafts (1999-2006 except '06 Dyna)

Andrews "G" series cams are designed for S & S gears for all Twin 88 engines from '99 through 2006 (except 2006 DynaGlides). Tests show a 4 HP gain over chain drive engines. With less power needed to run camshafts, more power gets to the rear wheel. Gear drive cams do not have chain tensioner shoes to wear out. When deciding what cam is best for your engine the most important consideration is a proper match of compression ratio and intake cam duration. For best street performance, static compression ratio should be around 175-180 PSI. Drag motors can handle still higher static pressures. Static pressures of 160 PSI are great for all-around riding.
