| Gear inspection at Andrews
Products is a continuous effort. Using a Zeiss CMM and a CNC
Hoeffler gear inspection system, all basic gear dimensions as well as
tooth profiles can be quickly checked and verified. Gear tooth
inspection includes overall pitch size, pitch circle runout, tooth
involute profile, tooth lead error, and tooth crowning. Most
of these tooth measurements can't be done with manual checking
methods. The use of computerized gear and cam inspection
verifies the high quality level of the final product. |

tooth inspection ouput. Rapid checks of tooth involute profiles,
crowning, tooth pitch and a variety of other parameters are easily within
the capability of this machine. No amount of hand inspection can
accomplish these tasks efficiently. |
